Hey there everyone! I totally wish I could have had my Itouch earlier. Why? Because then I could've totally ranted and rambled about my first anime con I went to last month was! That's why! Oh well, I guess I can do it now!
It started out like this, my cosplay costume was only half-way finished and I had only a few hours before the con started. So as you imagen this scene let me tell you something, half the time I was in a towel because I had just gotten out of the shower and was trying to get the rest of my cosplay finished. When I finally got dressed and got my cosplay finished I jumped in the car and waited for my mom; when she finally came out, we started the car, drove out of the garage, and we drove to the bank (to get my $20 so I could get into the con).
When we got to the hotel where the con was taking place I found Natalie, and fellow cosplayers, waiting for me. I said bye to my mom and she drove off. I then went inside and got registered, we then kinda just paroozed all the booths untill the panels started. I felt kinda akward, because I didn't really know Natalie but after the con was over I felt like I knew her a little bit better, and hope to know her even better in future times : ).
Okay well back to the con, when the panels started I didn't really know what to expect. So when they did start I was so, how do I explain it? Oh, I don't know, sorta happy and excited and hyper but all at the same time. I think everyone called it an "Anime High". But whatever it's called it. Was. AWESOME!!!
For one of the other cosplayers in my group this was also her first con so we both had super-mega-awesomely-awesome Anime Highs. I swear that this was the best part of the con (and cosplaying, of course!!!)
The first panel was called "If We Met". It was like doing "Freeze" in theater, but it was sorta different. You played like this:
First you had to pick an anime character from the box. If you knew the character then you had to portray that character, if not then keep drawing untill you find one that you know then you would roleplay as that character! It was soooo much fun! The rest of the day was super fun!!! I can't wait until Anime Vegas! It'll be so much fun!
